The world of emotions in kindergarten. The development of emotional intelligence at an early age plays a key role in the formation of a healthy and harmonious personality. In kindergarten, children begin to actively interact with peers and adults, which requires them to be able to understand and manage their emotions, as well as recognize and respect the feelings of others.

What are emotions?
Emotions are what we feel inside ourselves. They can be both pleasant and unpleasant.
What kind of emotions are there?
Joy: we feel joy when we have fun, when we play, when we receive gifts.
Sadness: we feel sad when we are sad, when we break up with our loved ones, when something goes wrong.
Anger: we feel angry when someone interferes with us, when we get offended, when something doesn’t work out.
Fear: we feel fear when we are afraid, when we are afraid of the dark, when we are alone.
Surprise: we feel surprised when something unexpected happens to us, when we see something new.
It is important to understand your feelings. When we understand our feelings, we can control them.
How do you manage your feelings?
- If we feel joy:
✔️Let’s share our joy with others.
✔️ Let’s play, dance, draw. - If we feel sad:
✔️Let’s talk to someone about what’s upsetting us.
✔️ Let’s cry if we want to. - If we feel angry:
✔️Let’s express our anger calmly, without shouting and fighting.
✔️ Let’s take a few deep breaths and exhale. - If we feel fear: Let’s tell someone about what we’re afraid of. Let’s hug someone who loves us.
- If we feel surprised:
✔️Let’s share our surprise with others.
✔️ Let’s find out more about what surprised us.
It is also important to understand other people’s feelings. When we understand other people’s feelings, we can empathize with them.
What is empathy?
Empathy is the ability to feel the same as another person.
How to empathize with other people?
- Imagine yourself in the other person’s place.
- Think about how he feels.
- Ask him about what’s going on with him.
- Offer him your help.
The world of emotions is a very interesting world. The more we study it, the better we will understand ourselves and other people.
